In the fourth week we were tasked in creating a point perspective drawing, this could be of anything but I personally went with a village divided by a river. I thought it was nice image in my mind and with my cartoony feel and own artistic style I made it my own.

Using one point perspective using the sun as the point I made two building that were split by a river.
The river is important as it shows the divide between the corporate and the people.
I gave the image composition with the 3 parts (left, middle and right) to give the eyes a direction of flow.
1 point perspective doesn’t have to be the limit though, it can go to a crazy amount of points of perspective for example you can get a 5 point perspective and it looks like a fish eye lenses.

This was made by a person called Circle Line Art School on YouTube, this is a demonstration on how a 5-point perspective drawing looks like and how it looks like a fish eye lenses typically, due to being a wider scope of places the lines can go to.
In conclusion
In conclusion, point perspective and composition is often used to make the art feel more stylized and often more realistic as a result to have it not shown as orthographic as our eyes see in perspective.
