Character Sheet
Backstory
The name of my character is Rtas ‘Vadum. He is a brute chieftain, Rtas ‘Vadum rose to the rank by being in many battles and having successful attacks on the opposing side the humans. Rtas ‘Vadum lead is fellow brutes into battle even when their commander sent them into a suicide mission, taking on the humans and winning even if he was the only one left. Once he got to his rank of chieftain he lead his battalions into battle using his intelligence and combat experience leading him to be one of the most successful leaders in the whole war between the humans and brutes. Using his overwhelming force and strategic mind, he made many battles a success even when Rtas ‘Vadum was out numbered and out gunned. With his many years of battle Rtas ‘Vadum had to have many augmentations to his body, leading him to cover most of it up with armour or a fully replaced limb.

Character description
Being 8ft 6inches he stands slightly taller than his fellow brothers in arms, but compared to the average human he towers over them all, causing mass fear when most see Rtas ‘Vadum. After his numerous years of fighting he sustained many injury’s including mass amounts of damage to the face. This caused Rtas ‘Vadum to have many scars and deep cuts into the skin of him. One bad case was a 50cal sniper shot to the top right of Rtas ‘Vadum’s skull. He keeps his face open to show the scars of his past to try intimidate most people he fights. Rtas ‘Vadum is mostly covered in armour or an underlayer of protective clothing to make sure he doesnt get more battle damaged. His previous years getting ordered around and getting more and more damaged, made him value his intellect over his strength but he will use his strength when the time calls for it. His left arm was so damaged in his younger years he had to get it replaced by a robotic limb significantly weakening him in that side.
Concept Art
I created this quick concept piece to show the general layout of my character. I made it into a vector image to define the lines and to use as a size and shape guide. The non vector piece is to show more detail in what i want each piece to be.
Shape Theory
The main bulk of Rtas ‘Vadum’s design is blocky and angular. I wanted to show his personality through his appearance. This being relatively angular with the armour he is wearing while being blocky with most of parts of the body. This is to show his offensive and defensive nature as a character.
I wanted a more towering build for my character therefore i chose more stable shapes like squares, while having the triangles of the shape placed on top of the squares to give the more brutish look and more aggressive.
Colour Design
The colour design for Rtas ‘Vadum that i wanted was a more muted unsaturated colour scheme that was mostly metallic apart from his face. It’s more of a militaristic look that i was going for. I wanted none of the colours to have any vibrancy to them.
Having the face, hand (singular) and legs being skin being purple gives it a small contrast to the metallic armour he has on.
Accessory’s
I wanted Rtas ‘Vadum’s accessory’s to be all about his armour on the arms and also his robotic arm. I wanted the arms armour to be removable, to be able to shows his arms if he has prove himself on the battlefield. It is an intimidation tactic that he often uses to demoralise his enemy’s. I want his robotic hand to be removable for the purpose of making it come off if it gets too damaged in a fight.
Character Themes
I wanted his themes to be about the diminishing hope of the human race and the unrelenting force of power. The way i have made Rtas ‘Vadum is all about showing how much of a towering figure and the true power of strength when in the eyes of a human. Rtas ‘Vadum shows that no matter how much firepower you send his way he will always be the victor.
